Today is Wisdom Wednesday.....where we share some very important dental information with our readers. 
Today we are talking about mouth rinses.  I bet many of you use commonly named products like Listerine or Scope.  Did you know that they could stain your teeth?  At Cashion & Cody we suggest a mouth rinse called  Tooth and Gum Tonic. Don't let the name throw you. It sounds like it has been around since 1858 but it is actually a new product. It does an excellent job of killing the harmful bacteria that are eating away at the gum and bone, but unlike previous rinses, it does not stain the teeth.
Do you have tooth decay?
Then a fluoride mouth rinse may be what we recommend. They are very effective at strengthening the outside of the teeth. Our favorite is a brand called Oxyfresh because it does not contain alcohol. Alcohol dries the skin inside the mouth, which is not healthy.
Do you have bad breath?
Bad breath is a terribly embarrassing problem but there are REAL answers. Oxyfresh produces a product that literally chews up the bad smelling chemicals. Unlike a minty coverup, Oxyfresh eliminates the cause of bad breath.
